Stefan Fähler, Berlin based artist and founding member of the experimental rock band Château Laut, is spending a month in Sydney to create and collaborate, culminating in an exhibition of new and past artworks.
Throughout the last 3 years he designed gigposters for acts like Ariel Pink, Aids Wolf, Damo Suzuki, Liturgy and Shonen Knife, to name a few. Poster art, screen prints and the premier of his latest film, a concert movie with Damo Suzuki, will be exhibited at ESP Gallery/Marrickville.
Whilst in Sydney, Stefan will be collaborating with revered local photographer Kurt Sorensen on a series of works.

Stefan is supported by Marrickville Council Artist in Residence program.

Thanks to Jay of Wooden Toy Publishing Co for supporting the show in his blog!
